ROTATING ASSEMBLY: The 1UB crank is a fresh .010/.010 and polished, the
C7AE-B rods are reconditioned, resized with new pin bushings and ARP rod
bolts. The harmonic balancer is correct and dated to the block. The pistons
are new standard pistons (like originals) with larger valve reliefs. We
normally use Plasma Moly rings and Federal Mogul Bearings but can also use
comparable parts. The cam and lifters are a Comp Cams custom grind (267/280,
224/230 @050, 559/538 lift, on a 112 + 4 lope sep.) New Ford Racing double
roller timing set.
CYLINDER HEADS: The heads are original C8OE-6090-N heads with new stainless
2.099/1.66 valves, guide liners, fresh street/strip 4 angle valve job, back
cut valves, milled decks and exhaust sides, Comp Cams 911-16 valve springs,
Comp Cams 7 degree steel retainers and locks.
INTAKE MANIFOLD and ACCESSORIES: The C8OE-9425-C intake is the correct
date coded intake for the engine
with aluminum water neck. The engine also comes
with the correct aluminum valve covers, correct oil pan, C8OE-B front cover,
C9AE-A re-manufactured water pump. New AMK restoration bolts are used
throughout the complete engine.
The engine is painted
complete as from the factory.
