Chevelle was Introduced in 1964, the original Chevelle
concept was intended to compete with the similarly sized
Ford Fairlane. The
Chevelle
quickly gained in popularity and gained a life of its own going on to become
one of GMs most popular cars. It was also Chevrolet’s second of two entries
into the Muscle Car arena.
As the audience for the Chevelle grew
and the desire for Muscle Car performance deepened, the Super Sport optioned
cars started to turn up in garages across the country, big block engines
with high horsepower ratings were introduced and the horsepower race was on.

carburetor. The
1969 Chevelle
SS 396 engine was completely rebuilt 2 years ago with small cam.
The trans is a turbo 400. The rear is a 12 bolt single traction with a 308
road gear. You can drive this car to and from shows. It is very dependable
and has no leaks of any kind. The interior has bucket seats with console in
floor. Tinted glass, am/fm cassette with speakers in rear, interior is in
excellent condition. The color is blue with black vinyl top ans SS wheels.
AC compressor and hose also go with car. The

has a complete Flowmaster
exhaust.
