1942 Vintage Gibson ES-300

This is an amazing 1942 Vintage Gibson Guitar ES-300 Electric Archtop Guitar. This guitar is 100% Original and is in almost mint condition. This also comes with the Original Hard Shell Case.   

    This is a1 942 Vintage Gibson Guitar ES-300 ES-300. These are getting very scarce. The highest quality woods and craftsmanship was used. The wood is curly and highly figured through-out. Its has the Sunburst finish in excellent condition with very little playwear. This has the beautiful binding and Mother of pearl inlayed fret board. Also has the old school Gibson Logo on the headstock.

    The guitar plays amazing. The neck is straight. The action and intonation are set professionally. There were new strings put on. the tone is big and brilliant. Low lows and crisp highs. Also very dynamic with volume, soft type play and big and powerful when your play more aggressively.

    The electronics are in excellent working order.  The pick-up is hot and has a beautiful cut through tone. All the hardware is original.

 The chrome is clean with no oxidation.

 

     Overall, This is a beautiful, almost mint condition, USA Made Pre-war Gibson ES-300.  This is a piece of history. They stopped production during the war.
